Thank You Fayetteville From NNDDA Member Daniel Murray
|
|
|
Daniel Murray, NNDDA Member from Minden, La. Police Dept. was in a serious motorcycle accident while attending the Fayetteville Nationals which left him with 6 broken ribs, a crushed spleen, damaged kidney, partial paralysis on the right side and broken neck. Our NNDDA Members pitched in and donated $1200.00 to to assist Daniel which meant the world to him. Message from the NNDDA President Tony Viator
|
|
|
I would like to take the time to tell all NNDDA members how excited I
am to be serving as your president for 2008-09. I have been with this
organization for many years and it has been a privilege to associate
with all the members.
Our next National Conference will be held in Corpus
Christie, Texas. We are already working hard to make this a great
event.
There are other training seminars scheduled and on the website.
We will add more schools as they are scheduled. If you have any type of
training you would like to see at the Nationals or another seminar
please let us know so we can try to include it in the schedule. If you
wish to host a training event or need any training let us know and we
will do everything we can to get it done.
I encourage any member that has
a question or comment to contact me anytime. I am looking forward to a
great year and with your help we can make the NNDDA even better.
Thank You for your time and support.

From Past President Keith Wilke
|
|
|
I wanted to take this time to tell each and
everyone of the hundreds of members of the NNDDA how much of a
pleasure it has
been to be your past president for 2007/2008. Over the many years
serving you all I have had the opportunity to meet, talk and gather
information from each of you in a manner allowing me to see and hear
your
ideas and suggestions for making our organization better. It is
because of
you, the member that we have grown to where we are today and for that,
I say thanks! Through the many years with the NNDDA, (18 yrs) I have
come to know many of you not just as members but as personal friends
who
I have called on from time to time for your assistance. This again is
something I have spoken of for some time that all officers should be
networking with each other and finding ways to help each other in
other
jurisdictions. With the help I have received, it has made it alot
easier
at times clearing one or two of my cases. I encourage each of you to
cont
inue this relationship as our organization continues to grow. It is
hard to believe I have completed my term on the board but have no
regrets
and encourage others to seek the job as we are always looking for
fresh
ideas to continue to make our organization grow. While many of you are
my friends, I consider most of you my family. Please feel free to
contact me anytime for assistance here in Houston, Texas. Finally, to
my
board who have sat by me over these many years, I thank each and
everyone
of you as well. While not always agreeing, we stayed strong and
focused on the problems and solutions of this GREAT organization and
without
you there, we would not have the success we hold so dearly today!
Thank
you all and God Bless and keep you all safe! Keith Wilke, Past
President, NNDDA, 2007/2008
