Certifying Official Application

You must be a commissioned police officer and a member of the NNDDA for at least three years in a row before you will be considered.

Each standard has a different requirement to become a certifying official, at the bottom of each standard is certification official’s requirement.

You must meet all requirements before the board considers you for certifying official status.

You must contact the National Secretary and request a certifying official application packet.

Your application packet must be in the hands of the National Secretary no later than December 1st.

The board will review your application at the January Board Meeting.

If you are granted an interview with the board you must be prepared to attend the next NNDDA Nationals.

An interview with the board does not guarantee that you will be made a certifying official
